Slowres

This project, encouraged first by the yearly type challenge hosted by @36daysoftype started off as a little experiment, and we thought that creating 36 individual characters out of “Mounting blocks” was only worth all the effort, if turned into a limited edition of physical prints that could be kept for the future. These

“Slowres” (two words combined to communicate the idea of super-high resolution prints produced in a very slow manner) is not really a type but a series of letter-forms created in a modular way to resemble the very first computer-type. The complete series has been bound into a kind of imaginable type specimen.
